I haven’t had much of a chance to use it until this past weekend. I’m still learning some of the controls. Most of the control placements are the same or similar to the 40D I was using, so it should be pretty easy to pick it up. So far, I’m pretty impressed.
Here is a long exposure I took one night this past weekend. Turned out pretty nice.
Snow Day!

I know it has been a while since the last posting, but things have been busy round here! We had snow in Memphis recently. Actually, we’ve had lots of snow. And ice. Schools have been cancelling class like crazy. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m ready for the warm weather. For the most part, we’ve avoided the snow and have stayed indoors. We’ve tried to test the limits on our heating system. But, we did manage to get outside for just a little bit of snowy fun.
Haley’s come a long way. She really enjoyed it this year. Last year she’d have nothing to do with it. We taught Haley everything there is to know about snow. Well, I guess I should say we taught her everything WE know about snow. She built snowmen, threw snowballs and made snow angels. We had fun, but we’re ready for those 75 degree afternoons.
